Our first one ‘first relic’ was recorded 1994 and published
1995. It included 22 of our favourite songs, all well-known, in
our own arrangements. The tapes were recorded live in Berlin on
fostex DAT-recorder during a five days  session on may 24th to 28th.
The 28 songs were selected from about 10 hours DAT-material.
To get this, we played more then 30 hours and spent the same time for
selecting, mastering and copying. The CD presented the best we could perform,
at that time. It was horrifying, but great fun.

Unfortunally there are no further copies avaiable.

The second CD by ‘The Generics’ was "time to move"
We presented the first songs written by members of the band and  several
new-arranged oldies.

The songs were recorded as ‘one takes’ in Berlin on  DAT-recorder during
"multiple" sessions at the “wurstfabrik” in november/december 1995
and january 1996. To the songs additional vocals (all sung by petra)
were added and sometimes guitars, keyboards and percussion, using
our 8-track digital studio-equipment in springtime 1996.
Then we mastered the compilation until fall 1996.

Unfortunally there are also no further copies avaiable.

The Generics presented their material several times successfully
to selected audience at “queen louise hall”  in berlin.
